Lower Falls Trail in Big Canoe

The 1.7-mile Lower Falls Trail is the longest natural trail in Big Canoe. Of course the highlight of the hike is the 30-foot cascade on Disharoon Creek known as the Lower Falls.

The 1.7-mile Lower Falls Trail is the longest natural trail in Big Canoe. Of course the highlight of the hike is the 30-foot cascade on Disharoon Creek known as the Lower Falls.
The Disharoon Cabin was built long before the area became Big Canoe. It can be found on the Cabin Loop Trail, which joins the Jeep Trail and the Lower Falls Trail in Big Canoe.
