Hiking Big Bone Gardens

Jeanne and I hiked at beautiful Big Bone Gardens in northern Kentucky in late June.

Lily pond

This is the larger lily pond.  It was blooming when we visited.  Quite a sight!

The pond lily flowers are pretty and immense.  Many of the flowers are as big as a basketball.

The tall exotic grasses nearly swallow us alive.

Cabin

The cabin at Big Bone Gardens was originally built in the 1840s and reconstructed here.

Wow, I had no idea you hiked in such a beautiful place. If I had a relative that ran such a place, I’d be there often! Photos of you both are great and the photos of the flowers look professional! Love the idea that you have a blog – I’m impressed!!
